remote central locking?

i have a saxo 1.1i wiv remote central locking.for sum reason the rmeote doesnt work for the central lokcing. there are new batteries in it and the little light on the remote flashes but it won't do anyfing else?i could it be the part inside the car?n does anyone know how much it will ost to fix dis?

i don't know how much will it cost, but it might be the infrared transmiter and the transmiter is located at the rearview mirror at the light.I mean the light the comes on when u open the door.U should check the transmiter mate.or it might be the battery.i had the same problem with my central locking but my battery was weak, i changed it and it worked.I mean the car battery.
hope u will came up with a solution.

make sure u point it at the transmitter near the rear view mirror!as they not very sensitive and dont work from that far away!

im gona go to citroen dealer and ask them.i've just put a new car battery in 2 weeks ago and it still isn't working, so it must be the reciever.

water leak messing with the receiver? check sunroof seal and aerial

the seals on my sunroof do look funny but it's never leaked or my aerial. would it be a problem if it was due to a leakage?would that mean that the water has fooked the electronics?

i've been to the citroen dealer and they said it was the remote that isn't working. n they want £104 for a new remote. there is no way i'm paying that much for just a lil remote. is there any other place that i can go to get a cheaper remote?

have you tryed resinking it as if the button is pushed away from the car it forgets and code??? i will find out how to do this and let you know.
