rite what i want to do is stop some programs from starting up when i turn my pc on... i have done this before by going to START, and then RUN and i typed something in but it was ages ago and now i can remember what it is you type in... does anyone know???? rep given? cheers

msconfig then startup tab.

regedit,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
Be careful what you delete in the registry tho.

select run... type msconfig
you will see what to do.
that will do the job..

no mate it was just this thing that kept loading up and i had to keep clicking exit everytime i turned the pc on.... but i didnt wana delete it as i needed the driver it was for my wireless adaptor for the internet but i set it up a different way.... its all sorted now.... cheers everyone
