Just wondering how much insurance would be on a Honda Civic type R, i am 21 and i am going to be the second driver with my dad as the main driver, any ideas thanks

its gonna be hard to give ya an answer man depends on where you live how long you an your dad have been driving etc etc

is the car going to be registered in your dads name or yours?

Erm going to be registered under my dads name, dads been driving for about 10 years and i have for 3 years, car going to be parked on the road, just want rough estimate.

well i am paying something near £900 for my VTR with my dad and thats really expensive with my dad on the policy, but with one claim forgot to mention that sorry :panic:

oh im under my mums on my VTR im only 18 and its 615 full comp... something is wrong.

2 grand at the most id say, all goes by the crime rating of your area, plus there insurance group 14 i think?

yeah group 17 ... pretty high type r's, 2.0 turbo... corners like mental, ive seen one go flat out on a roundabout and i was shocked at how fast it went... worth it though ;)

type R's arent turbo'd just has vtec!

i was insured on a '53 dc5 integra type-R - policy in my own name, 21, 2 years ncb, driving 3.5 years, etc, etc...1400 quid fully comp with Ensign after a lot of calls. they're group 20 import too so the civic R will be cheaper :)

gonna try this company out see what they say thanks :y: let you know how much they say, do you have the website link for this insurance company can't find it, found one but not sure if it is the right one

erm has more then 9 years no claims bonus, erm he been driving for more than 10 years, anyone know of any cheap insurance companies to get a type r insured

they were turbo i thought.. oh well theyre still fast;)

Bloody hell thats really cheap, i phoned my current insurer who is norwich union and they said to me that in order to drive the civic i have to be over 25 :homme:

is it just me or is adrian flux just an agent for very small insurance company's.

only i phoned them yesterday and they were on about highway, green light etc.
