This has prob been asked before but there are soo many posts that go on to talk about other things, i would just like straight answers.

Where is the best place for insurance for a modified car. No engine mods, just exterior.

It would be for a 19yr old.

Thanks guys!!

I find tescos very good.
have heard good and bad things about Norwich Union (depending on status)
Liverpool Victoria, Adrian Flux, elephant, Equity Red Star.

Just a few that spring to mind.

elephant.co.uk offer very competitive quotes. well, the cheapest, but you will pay for what you get.

cheap insurance = cheap service (which applies to the younger drivers) because as you get older, you build up years no claims bonus and insurance premiums remain low.

by the way, declare ALL modifications. it is up to them to tell you whether or not some of the modidications do or do not need covering.

tell lies = no insurace cover.

i think that is good.

i saved a whole £15 for fitting a clifford cat 1 alarm with Norwich Union, doesnt really make up for the generally crap customer services though smileys/sad.gif
