Well, if your on the 600k NTL connection, in theory you should get 600k download speed... But you dont usually.



If you check at different times of the day and night you will see your connection speed go up and down...



I got 553 last time I checked..... and ive just done the test again NOW and got 536.2



Then again, up in Bonniw Scotland you may still be on the old NTL 512k connection.. <img src= "smileys/silly.gif">

Im with BT, my mates @ works got the 1 meg connection at his house...twice as fast as broadband nearly! 20 times faster than a 56k modem! <img src= "smileys/shocked.gif">
