Well I thought it was about time i did one of these. Ive Been on here quite a while.. So Here it goes
Right i got my saxo from an old couple in the new forest for a bargain price, put it through its mot cost me 35quid bargain :panic: , needed new handbrake cable nd light bulbs frnt nd rear.

Any way i bought it bog standard
Heres Some Pics of when i picked her up
6209

6210

6211

Nice and tidy apart from passengers door lock, was broke as some c**t tried to break in and drivers side back bumper scraped from the old lady not being able to drive lol

After picking her up i gave her a full service, changed cam belt, fan belt, plugs, oil, and oil filter. only cost me £50, then checked the brakes they seemed ok.

I then set out on buying ice, i bought a 1000wt sub, 2000w amp, and 2x 1000w 6x9's, i also bought a dvd headunit, worst mistake i could of made.
I then thought i needed something to put the amp and sub in, so i went down to my local b&q's got some mdf and done a boot build, and an enclosure for my sub, then covered it in some nice material.

After my dvd head unit going wrong i bought a kenwood headunit, absolutely amazing sound, and does everything i want.

a few months pass, im getting bored, so i go and buy some tint film, and tint my back windows, took me bloody ages to do and i still have bubbles in them, so im going to get a pro to do it.. so if any body know of any 1 around the bmouth area who does cheap/reduced tints plz pm me :P

Now a few problems rise, going down then dually to take parents into bmouth and me car is shacking like f**k, i think ah well it needs balancing, the next day i go to my grandads, who has a pit, and theirs a crack in my passengers drive shaft, gr8 another problem, so i ring up my local car spares they quote me £58 i say woop, go and collect, then i realise ive got 2 get gear box oil and a new diff seal, once i had got all that i replace the shaft, bit of a pain but it only took 2 1/2 hours from start to finish.. im happy now

few weeks pass and my car wont start immobiliser light comes on, one time starts fine next wont start, after a few months i thnk bugger it, pull black box out and wolla no more probs, but i have a seperate immob fitted now + an alarm.

few weeks pass, i need an exhaust so i buy a devil exhaust of a fellow saxp member nice chap, and fits to my car nicely and doesnt look shite. i then wanted a induction kit so i get a k&n 57i.

Few more months pass and i think i need alloys so i goto wiltshire and get some multispoke white toora 3stud alloys mint con.

Thats all ive done just thought id start a progress thread.

I will upload more pics later when i get onto my pc
Thanks

Well, i got fed up with my slow 1.1, so got a vtr
Got it for a few quid.
when i got it, it didnt drive as, both drive shafts were broke, gear linkages, gearbox, engine mounts and exhaust was FOOKED. Oh and no mot or tax

After saving money up over a few months i finally bought every thing for it and within a month after getting parts it was driving :),

Was alot of hassle fixing it but well worth it :)

Took it for an mot and failed, on front light not workin and number plate light not workin, oh and wheels to big as they were rubbing on arches.

so bought 2 new tyres and done bulbs took it back and got a years mot.

It's lowered 40mm i tink all round, k&n induction kit, did have str8 through exhaust but got rid as it was fooked. put it back to standard and got a twin 3inch back box, nice sound :)

Fully Colour Coded, 15" Alloys

Full service history 56k on the clock

Well here is some pics leave comments if u like :P
