confused.vts

jus upgraded from a vtr to a vts x reg and the prob i have is that wen im sat at the lights/junction i can kick its head in in 1st gear and all is fine get into second and try the same and the revs drop off for a second and then it goes ok and all other gears are fine only seems to do it in second :panic: can any one help

that is very odd lol. im not to sure if the idle control valve would cause that to happen cus it would do it in all the other gears

it only started to do it wen i put the feed on for the bmc filter

thats weird, make sure that the filter is clean, or that you havent discontected any hoses like breather hoses or anything by accident. and try that but its a case which is very strange. or it could have something to do with a sensor, lamba sensor or sumin im not sure. i will ask my mate at the citreon garage 2moz see if he knows

iirc 1st to 2nd is the largest rev drop when changing gear.

sounds alright to me, and unless you change the gearbox internals (ratios) you cant change it.
