it is good a lot of the time but u have 2 b careful. wen people sell stuff they get good or bad feedback, on the quality n how long it took etc. so just check their feedback 1st n u no u r safe.

Ebay used to be a great auction site, but is now ruined by Conmen. I would never buy anything off there anymore, its just gone really downhill. But as Grainger says to be EXTRA careful check the sellers details and feedback, power sellers are only the really genuine sellers on ebay.

i have used it once to buy an I-Trip for the missus' Ipod. The guy had excellent feedback and had sold literally thousands of things.

I bought the Itrip at 3:30 on the 23rd of december, it was there at 9am on the 24th of december (thats christmas evesmileys/smiley3.gif)

it was defo worth it
the guy was excellent and communicated with me very quickly by email.

BE VERY CAREFUL you will probably receive emails from "ebay" asking to enter bank details etc.... they are not from ebay delete them and keep your wits about you, remember ebay or a seller will NEVER need your pin number so never give it out

Itrip ?? whats that do like adam? i might get a ipod like

AdamW
23rd February 2005, 18:10
Well the Itrip plugs into the top of the ipod, you tune your radio station into a certain frequency and you can listen to all your tunes on your ipod through ur car stereo or HiFi at home without any leads or anything.

saxogal

used to be excelent, but now too many ppl are trying to con ppl out of money, i won some lexus style lights for £40, sent off my cheque and never recieved the item, ebay were fucking useless to help out too. ive bought loads of stuff where deals have gone well, most recently a brand new green cotton air filter for £40, well happy! i bought my car stereo from there too, but the guy took 3 weeks to send, and then another 2 months to send the remote he forgot to post! u gotta be really careful on there now, and if u can pay by paypal, that way u have some sort of a guarentee on your money.

Its ok. I've bought things from £20 - £400 however, I'm waiting on a coil pack I bidded on like a week n a half ago. I sent my payment a week ago and I still have nothing! not even an E-mail. Can't keep using my car like this.. really starting to get to me. So if ur on this site and u see this.. HURRY UP!!!! *shakes fist*

use ebay loads as a buyer and seller, been doing so for a long time!!! back in the days when paypal didnt exist and everyone sent cheques to each other etc!!!!

Never had a problem, some people on it are lazy (myself included) and either wait for a few auction to have ended and have all the money and everything ready to take to the post office in one trip whereas other tend to send it straight away. Personally i usually judge it. If its something expensive ship it straight off as people get worried too quickly and the emails start flooding in!

Set up an account on http://www.paypal.com/uk/
