Hi, Im new to the whole forum side of this and looking for a bit of advice from those with modifying experience.

Im just starting to do up my saxo and dont want to make any wrong decisions.
I firstly want to lower my car but not sure how to. I mean im not sure whether to get springs as i dont have much money or go all out on suspension kit or maybe coilovers. I know springs are not anywhere near as good but what are the positives and negatives of each.......? Can i get away with just getting 50mm springs or am i going to lose out in the long run with handling ect?
Does having an induction kit lose you bhp? should i get one or just get a full exhaust system for a nice sound?
Does anyone know where i can get my interior re-trimmed?

Thanks

just noticed it says a vtr in your profile

hmm... it all depends really

If you have the cash get a kit, if not just get some decent springs..

Having a open induction kit will lose power. a closed one you will gain

And a full system exhaust will go well with the induction kit

I have a mk2 vtr. so a bmc carbon closed induction would be good yeah? i was gonna get some 50mm apex springs as im on a budget at the moment but i drive the car hard and fast and a little worried the shocks wont be able to cope.
