Got a new alpine head unit with 2 preouts

Got amp and sub on SBWoofer Preout and 2 Channel Amp on other Preout
Turned Power IC off on head unit and amp is on Max if i leave bass setting on head unit to -7 very little bass comes through sub and no bass through door speakers which are connected to amp. When i put it to +7 then bass like hell through Sub and through (door speakers) - surely this aint right.

Gain is on middle on door speaker amp and bass eq on 0 or -? so basically on lowest.

What is going wrong

I have some components but needing to do fibreglass pods as they wont fit (too big) The crossovers are all wired up on the doors with the tweeters but not connected to anything.

Sounds right tbh

If you want more bass through the sub then youll need to find the subwoofer setting on the radio and put that up or if the hu doesnt have that then try fiddling with the amp

sub setting on full on HU and Amp and when i put bass up its coming out sub and speakers

You need to turn the bass level down on the headunit and turn the sub level up so there is no bass going through the speakers just the sub . what headunit have you got ?
