About to go chop them into 20 peices and then put back together so they are 1/4 the size, then build custom bendy brackets, then chop up some standard mirror base plates and blend all in....

Gunna be Super Duper!

Well i just started on them....

Removed Stickers

Then started to mark on my cutting lines...

you always have a plan like dan said! But chopped base plates! How you gonna fix them on?!Well will want to see ythe finished product though! When can we expect to see them in a more finished state? I know you are a bit secretive with details but wanna see your car finished up mate!!!!!

would have been better making it from a sheet of plastic cutting a box net out of it then using a line bender to get the shap, would have been stronger and tidyer (sp). Then just fiber glassed over the top.

They will look mint tho! I'm liking the creative genious chief

but thinking about it you wouldnt have got the perfectly round corners so might not have been best.

In which case making it out of foam and then vacum forming it would have been the best option.

The whole thing will be covered in fibreglass then skimmed with Filler Mike so they WILL be very very strong. Trust me.

C2 - I should have atleast one in a near finished state by the weekend.

Here we go now...

I then created this....

Then to get the shape i used tape....

But the i sat a looked at them and they looked WIERD! They looked to chunky....so i did this....

Thinking about it you could use Sidesports knowledge of all things firbreglass, and oz's knowledge of lights (that hes building) to create something like a custom centre console or dash cluster or something like that perhaps - even set up your own custom parts businesssmileys/smiley4.gif
