When is the next big meetup that's not 10000000000000 miles from where I am (Basingstoke)?

I've been registered on here a while now and have yet to meet anyone. Just curious.

Tried to get one in southend some time ago but i turned up there to see no one! so waiting for some one else to plan it instead! Meet up with dan or westy... oh wait maybe not westy right now lol

don't worry about it mate! the only person I knew out of there when I went was Oz cause I met him last fcs but got to know another 5 or 6 people! didn't get left standing!

Im taking my car apart, and putting things on at the mo.. Was thinking about going to next Southend meet, depending on whether I have the car on the road or not LOL smileys/smiley2.gif

depending on weather i'm going to be colour coding, fitting some new sounds, spraying some interior bits, got to sort my airhorns out..

I decided to pull my car apart the other day too!!! Was just unscrewing things and pulling things apart to see how they were fixed on to see if I could come up with ideas but all I did in the end was to install my neon pots to turn on automatically instead of plugged in to cigarete lighter!

Tried to get my mirror out to see if I could spray it but ended up taking bit after bit apart! Just to take my mirror appart from the car I have to take my doorcards off! And they are attached using plastic pins which is annoying!

That'd be cool - i'm up for going for a cruise in convoy to the next event too, even though my car hasn't had that much in the way of mods yet, it'd still be cool to meet some peeps off of the site and on the Saxo scene.

Although I heard that Westy's car is broken at the mo?

Jus incase ur interested i gt a few Sax bits for sale, Spax 40mm lowering springs (neva bin out the box) pipercross induction kit, Masitaly VT5r 16" alloys, under car neon kit plus a few others that i cnt fink of at the mo.

Gonna get a BMC CDA I think to be honest, seen so many good reviews about them. Do the wheels have tyres? 40 profiles? For the right price I may well be interested!

My VTR is black, i've already got a Piper 4" slash cut back box and a decent enough ICE install, however, i'm bidding on some standard smoked rear lights and clear indicators. Then i'm gonna get the trim colour coded black to match.

After that, lowering, air filter and wheels.

I'm also removing my rear wiper this weekend, got the proper screw in plug thing for the 106 to go in the hole, gonna link up the rear wiper as a boot release. Should be interesting, but i've got a good guide from SSC on how to do it.

Keep me updated on when you guys are next off somewhere / out for a drive - i'll pm you my mobile no.

My g/f is getting a westie next month, so i'm gonna sell her my VTR alloys to go on that, deffo interested in the wheels - you got any pics?
