engine problems

i'e got 52reg saxo vts and my engine starts playing up.didn't use it for 3 weeks and when got back from holls and start it,it only works on 2 cylinders,than start working on three or even one cylinder,and I can smell unburn fuel from exhaust.my mate said it's spark plugs,so I changed them,but without any luck.another mate said it can be coil pack,but this cost around 200,so before i spend that money i wanna be sure of it.can anyone help me ,please?

I agree with your friend mate. definitely sounds like those symptoms point towards the coil pack.
Get it on a diagnostic machine. Should show you whatevers at fault, but I'm certain that sounds like a coil pack
