Do suspension kits sold as 1.4/1.6 fit 1.1?

Can anyone recommend a decent -40mm kit for average cash.....approx £250? Springs and dampers for front and rear or is that price far too low or gonna get me a crap kit?

With Lowering a phase 2 40mm onto 17" (Possibly 16) am i right that the PAS pipe needs bending and washer bottle moving forwards or should i be able to get away without that?

For that money, you could get a good spax kit.

As for lowering between models.. a 1.6 is heavier than a 1.1, therefore will lower the car more.

Ah, so if i get a 50mm 1.6 kit it might only drop my 1.1 40mm??

Good Spax Kit....are Spax any good then...know someone with a clio who doesn't rate them too highly. Or is that what i can get with that money?

Spax are alright in my opinion. Ive got them on mine (I think) were on the car when I got it.
And they seem ok.
From my awareness yes the ones that say 60mm for 1.6 will prob be about 35-40mm on 1.1.
Phone and ask a supplier and find out.
