Im Jaymee, im a nurse from the Isle of Wight and i drive a 2001 SAXO FIRST.
Currently looking for a VTR, willing to pay up to £2,500 but must be in the hampshire area (which is proving a damn pain!!)

Any other isle of wighters on here?

Yep and every single one i find has SOMETHING annoying up with it, like great price great year, high mileage!
I havent been properly looking for that long though, just over a month i'd say.

Its pants because when i couldnt afford to get a new car i was seeing little gems every day :(

always the way tbh, before i had the money for my car i found like 30 vts's for sell then when i had the money i found none lol but one will come along soon keep strong, i remember the day i saw a cheap vts with fsh low mileage mot and tax i almost cried with happiness lol

im from southampton mate, got a few mates on isle of wight, my car was 2500 ;) although i got a right steal hehe was only 30k on the clock and absolutley mint condition :D was love, had some specifics like i wanted one of the colors that cost from new (metalic) :y: keep your eyes out on autotrader, ebay, pistonheads and such but make sure you view and get an aa check or a mechanic to have a look at the usual areas on them, if possible dont buy a modified one, although somone who looks after it polish and such! fresh oil and not high revs when cold etc :y:

btw if your gonna spend that and love it its worth traveling... (btw there is a red vtr near me, been up for sale for ages about 50k on it looks good female owner but just kinda sat there not in use as far as ive seen but might be a bit......) thats hedge end btw

where u see my baby :(... yer i had a bump..... not cool!!! some prick just stopped just before a roundabout that was totaly clear with only 2 exits the one we came from and the other side some forign prick and didnt speak english when we got it translated he said he thought you had to stop on everyone !!! was so annoyed but cant be bothered with all the effort as it was from behind it would be mine or 5050 so i just said look ill pay it off sooo my baby is in the body shop... few mods at same time hehe... its all good but waiting for the twat to acept my offer thru insurance (they are just advising) so no claims still :D his was a rightoff due to it being such a shit heap was only worth 500 quid lol but was a merc so was more expensive to repair :(

I'd love a completley standard car, thing is i work so (so so so so so) freaking much and travelling is realy hard anywhere out of hampshire. and i still havent passed my test yet so its not like i can drive somewhere either :(
My cars a bad luck charm aswell. Since ive had it (may07) everythings gone wrong with it :( I cant drive it either because its got such a dodgy clutch pedal, no matter how many times i've tried to adjust it, it still suddenly about mid way lifted, shoots up with some force! Because im so small and petite (yup im a girl.) it rams my knee up into the steering wheel which really hurts :(
I'm fed up of having bad luck with cars. I'm wasting money on these peices of poop when i should be paying for my test and getting a car i ENJOY driving.

yeah if you havent noticed, im really, really fed up :rage: lol

thats ok hun it hapens to everyone, my instructors car used to jump on the steering wheel as lugs were missing on the rack and pinion... which was not good so it was a shit, but looking after my cars when you love them you sort it anyway! tbh come out for a drink and have a chat in soton some time and if its not a stupid distance (within like 50 miles ish) ill give you a lift, as its wat mates do, but you gotaa be a mate first ;) lol atm i drive a 206 1.4 turbo diesel van lol beast!! my lovly rental from my cousin and it feels like sittin on a dining room chair its like upright and pedals dunno weird i hate driving it!
