i have my new engine fitted now
after having the battery disconnected for a few days the car doesnt seem to recognise my key fob,so i cant disarm the alarm.
is there a way to sort this,reset it maybe?
any ideas will be great as i cant do anything with it at the moment

i have searched the site for an answer but have had no joy
at the moment i can unlock the car with the key but the alarm go's off as soon as i open the door.
is there no way to get the key fob for the alarm recognised by the car again? i had the batterys checked on the fob and it isnt that

try turning your ignition on then whilst the key is still in there hold the fob to the sensor in the roof and press it and keep hold for about 5 seconds or press it a few time if not it might have to be reprogrammed in

who reprogrammes it in?
i now this must be fixable as im not the only owner who has had to disconnect ther battery/ecu
please guys need an answer
