how can i re-program a keyfob theres some advice which is sold on eBay which is probably like press a few buttons dissconnect the battery etc of something along these lines has anyone purchased this or knows what to do as i know citeron are a killer in the price for this thanks.....

the only way i know mate is through Citroen. think its about £35.
why do you need it re-coding?

its anew one mate as my last one all the buttons wore away and when you have to fumble around with your keys in your pocket when its raining in this weather its annoying so bought a new one !

I was quoted over £50 for programming one. £150 for a key, fob and programming from citroen.. Timpsons for key cut-around £30, fob of ebay-cheap, programming-citroen unfortunately or somewhere else

there will be some one who knows how to do it ma old man jst had his rover done n thob n re programing 55 all in off a lil back street place if that helps at all

Yeah you will need to go to citroen to get a new fob programmed. The above method will only work with a original fob that had lost its memory. :y:

you can try:
turning ignition on and holding lock button for 30 seconds
