View Full Version : Need some advice...

Ok i have just bought a white 1996 saxo sx 1.1 for 700 quid. I was on a tight budget and there were a few things wrong with the car (kerbed alloys with chrome peeling, damaged mirrors and worn gear linkages).

I fixed the gear linkages, and have got hold of a replacement set of mirrors. The base plate doesn't fit but i think it should work out.

Anyway, my friend is going to be getting rid of some his posi blue saxo parts (bumpers, grill and spoiler) and has said i can have them free.

This got me thinking, would a white car with blue bumpers etc look any good. I know it might not be as smooth as other saxos but i like to be different and don't really have the cash to fork out for parts.

I wouldn't mind gradually building up a blue white theme as i think it could look okay.

would really appreciate any thoughts and advice.

i will post some pics of my car tomorrow when there is light.

get a photo and put a thread in the photoshop section and they will change your bumpers and colour so you can see what it will look like before you even do it.

yeah it has still got the cherry bomb on it. you can tell its been ragged, and you cann tell the alloys were done by him cos they are flaking terribly. will be a nice little project to make it look good.
