OK the amp is fitted under the stealth shelf. Its to power a 10" subwoofer which is boxed and in the boot.

Just want to make sure I get this right smileys/happy.gif

1. Connect the red wire to the + battery terminal and make sure the fuse is close to the battery.

2. The amp is connected to the head unit subwoofer leads.

3. you ground the amp with the appropriate wire to the floor of the boot.

4. You connect the subwoofer to the amp.

So far so good (hopefully!) but what about this damn blue wire???? I think its the "remote wire" and its meant to get connected to my electrical aerial lead. Where the hell does it go?? And if I`ve got it all wrong please advise me - otherwise another poor little saxo might go "bang" tomorrow!

Thanks smileys/happy.gif(after all this it had better be worth it!)

remote wire may be labelled on headunit wiring as, 'amp' or 'remote'.
Its usually a blue wire itself, or blue with a white line on it.
With your amp wiring kit you should have a set of instructions as to wiring up. but what you have said is correct.
Phonos between headunit and amp.
remote wire from headunit to amp.
Power from battery to amp.
Speaker wire from amp to subwoofer terminals.
earth from amp to vehicle chassis (Boot floor)

Have fun fitting.

Thanks for that. I`ll have some fun in the morning. The instructions were like NATO coding and the diagram was a very pretty pattern!
