Power Steering Dead

My power steering has completely gone, i prosume i need a new pump. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and if it actually was the pump that was the problem. I have had a look on ebay and they range from 20-90 quid. All suggestions welcome.

i would say its your pump its quiet common for them to go

try giving the pump a wack with a hammer as sometimes the bushes stick , this normally works but if not you will need a new pump

Do that /\..... But with the engine running. It'll also help if you had someone to try and steer while you do it :y:

yeah mine done this, give it a whack with a hammer should work for a while jus keep the hammer in the car in case it cuts out if you park up etc.
but sounds like its on its way out so going need a new one soon ;)

dont just keep whacking the shit out of it cos for all you know the relay could be blown...
