i neeeeeeeed pc games! whats good at the moment?

Got a Zotac 8800GTS V2 worth £210 - pc is awsome now but lack of games to test it!

Got COD4 and bioshock - completed both!, not sure on crysis, its not that smooth even on my pc! (40fps) although i havnt tried it now im on Windows XP 64bit.

what chip have you got?

GFX should be perfectly fine with it!

halo is always a winner for me :)

online multiplayer then i'd suggest CnC3 :P erm, also recommend which will test you g-card for sure is UT3.

i got 2x 8600's and Crysis it pretty smooth for me a 720 Rez and all on medium.

also u cant go wrong with Counter Strike :-p haha

and UT3 aint that bad on gfx cards... its pretty forgiving...

i can run it all on full at 1680 x 1050 with just 1 of my 8600 gfx cards..

that's because UT3 and Unreal's engine work fook-ing hard so that they can produce a game that is playable by most pc users... where as crysis is for people who know more about gigwatts than their sunday lunch intake ;) hehe

Only problem with crysis is that they put too much detail into the small bits of the game like fooliage which im not saying is a bad thing buttt... it doesn't do justice. Hense why reveiwers love it but also state that the game's detail not the game has been bought out too early for the younger gamers :)

if your into racing simulations. closest thing you'll ever come to realistic racing in your bedroom.

its an online game so competition is hard but good fun lol and its pretty popular so theres loads of servers, guaranteed a race whenever you want to play.

race mini's to caterhams or gt cars, f1 cars or turbocharged beasts (which are pretty cool to fap around in)

crysis runs at about 40fps but it just seems slow motion compared with tralors. That was running it at high / medium.

Ive just redownloaded crysis to try on windows xp 64bit and will have a fiddle to see if i can get it to run well.

My spec is:

Athlon AM2 5600+ (o/c to 3.18ghz)
3gb DDR2 800mhz Corsair
ZOTAC 8800GTS G92 512mb (o/c to 790mhz core, 1998mhz shader)
320gb Seagate barracuda
Creative xtreme gamer sound card



COD4 crashes to desktop on my pc still, no idea why :(

P.S i want good single player games, i dont play , multi-player.
