for £500 mate you cant go wrong.

atleast you know whats wrong with it. the clutch will be able £200, the wheel baring about £30 and the knocking could be a wishbone

gearbox seems fine, solid in all gears,

Plans are new clutch, going to scrappy's tomorrow, slammed on coilovers on 15's.

stripped, carbon or ally panels instead of drivers sie panels, then throttle bodies.

finished project all in all car shoud have only cost me £3k. Bargain.

bargain mate i reckon its just exhaust rubbers are fucked which will be making ur knocking noise u should scrap it and go for a full powerflow/magnex kit also get a 4-2-1 manifold, wheel bearing is cheap to get fixed but u def need to take it to a mechanics for that unless u have a 10 tonne press in your garden , clutch will prob cost a little tho

Mr_suv
27th January 2008, 16:32
you def got more than 500 quids worth of car considering it will prob cost you bout 400 to get put right in total

vts-yes
27th January 2008, 18:11
where are the exhaust rubbers located????? back or front, knocking seems like its coming from underneath the gearbox????? inbetween the front wheels?
