Also where would i source a cheap but decent tv bracket? tv is 37 inches by ze way.

....What Output and inputs does your Laptop/Tele have?
Most laptops have VGA Out or DVI Out?
and your tele has HDMI in?

Therefore VGA/DVI Male to HDMI Male cable.

your tv needs a VGA output (D-SUB)

or a HDMI / DVI connection. Buy a VGA cable or DVI cable, plug it in tv and laptop and FN+F5 or FN+F8 and hey presto.
