i was thinking of transporting a saxo bonnet in the back of my car once upon a time. if i were you, i would measure a saxo bonnet and then measure your boot space.

there is nothing worse than getting there and realising you cant fit it in.

would there be no harm in asking to hire a van for half a day or so?
