Making the Right Decision - The PS3

Okay so I ordered an Elite from play.com this month. It arrived and didnt work.
I got the red ring of death and all that from the moment I turned it on!!!

I was gutted to say the least! So thats really made me lose my faith in Xbox's!


Anyhow. Im now looking at getting a PS3. I imagine there much better built and
plus you get a bit of Blu-ray chucked in too.

But now, do I bother getting a brand new 60gb version from Ebay (obviously it
will cost a bit more) or just sack it and get a basic UK 40gb version.

I still have my PS2 for my old PS2 games so dont really need to be playing
my PS2 games on the PS3 (which the 60bg version does). But do you reckon
its worth getting it still?

60gb or 40gb.. Hmmm.

Does the new 80bg version play old PS2 games btw? Cause that comes out soon eh?

get the 40gb one...you can add memory if needs be.

read yesterday the 80gb one isnt scheduled for release in the uk anytime soon...i originally thought it was out next month..

and i dont ever intend on using mine to play ps2 games..

Its only Crash Nitro Karts we play after a few beers. But tbh I heard you can
download the original Crash Team off the net for the PS3? Thats awesome if
true.

I may wait for a bit then but the 40gb does seem to be the one. Cheers!

I agree, prob more people on Xbox, but wait till the game start really rolling out

i reckon youd get near 60 quid if you traded it in,
might aswell bung it on eBay @ 65 quid start 7 day listing.
i reckon you might get 90 quid
providing theyre alright games.
