today i realised my horn wasn’t working. i went to ma local garage to see what the problem was.
they said they couldn’t fix it as they didn’t know what to do with electrics.
i thought id go to a Citroen garage they no exactly what to do...... it turns out my horn has fallen off and for a new 1 and fitting £85 !!!! nearly died !
has anyone else out there got ripped off by Citroen??

It's cause the horn is in the wing IIRC, so it's quite a lot of work to get to it......... I sold my VTR with the horn not working. :y:

Tat yard FTW. Easy fix? Cant remember if you can do it without taking the bumper/arch lining off.

i didn’t think really , i the horn was £28 which is exp. but i wasn’t that bothered. its just the rewiring the horn to the specific hole to were it goes, they going to charge £45 labour charge for half a hour !!!

my horn didnt work as it was full of mud and cow shit lmbo
i had replaced the horn with a one from my mates corvette (he smashed it up)
anyway, went to a car rally. was fine when we got there, although it was a bit to rough for a lowered saxo.
rained all day, time to go home, saxo was stuck, acted like a snow plough. got towed out by a tractor, very slowly.
every orifice in at the front of the car was cacked solid with mud and cow shite, once it dried up.
my horn sounded pants after that!
