Didn't test drive it coz we didn't have the time but we've got one booked for tomorrow. Had a look round it and there's a scratch that's about 3 inches long quite deep on the rear left panel and a long scratch on the black bumper strip on the same side.

Questions:

1) What's it really worth
2) How much would it cost to repair the scratches
3) What generally needs doing at 77k ish miles? (cambelt, exhaust etc)
4) Are mk2 bonnets supposed to be waaaaayyyy heavier than mk1 1's? (it weighed a lot more than my sister's mk1)

Thanks

1) 2.2k max, its unlikely theyll go that low though so keep looking mate. thats not a good price atall though
2)At a garage your talking prob 150 maybe a bit more for that
3)cambelt, wheel bearings and CV joints MAY be on the way out they tend to go about then, clutch possibly if a woman owned it
4) yeah theyre much heavier mate
