I have notices a lot of text talk on here e.g. mate = m8, anyone = ne1 etc etc.
Not being funy to the new members as I think it is good we have so many new people joining, but it seems to be mainly them.
it isnt just me noticing it more is it?

I have noticed that there is another wave of text talk appearing, but people seem to be learning (to a degree) fairly sharpish that we dont like it.

Nearly all new members use 'txt' talk. Until they get pwned by the local saxp forum bums :)

Im would much rather see text talk than some of the avatars some of you have they pretty explicit at times and what you need to remember is their is people like myself who have children wondering around when they are browsing the forum, i think this would be much better address than a bit of text talk.
Im not having a go but i think they need to tighten up on this as they soon scream and shout if someone starts a rude thread or use's bad language excessively.

A lot of text talk is seeking in, and it does annoy me as such. But it is soon mentioned and the member soon stops, or doesn't return. Why make a thread about it Jimo? Is it really "grinding your gears?" :p
