This weekend i have been getting the saxo ready to be sold.
Ive given her a good clean, made sure she is running correctly.
This evening i have been collecting all the cars history,
ive got a big bundle of documents, most showing my age, dob and address.
Should i be worried about handing these on with the car ?
I have got rid of any receipts showing bank detail....
What do you guys think ? and what have you done yourselves.
Rhys.

Whoever buys your car is going to have your name and address weather you like it or not. What sort of documents are they then?

Pretty standard stuff when you're selling a car. Address and name should be on there. Not sure about DOB though, where is that on your paperwork?

name and address fair enough
d.o.b is a bit much IMO - with ID fraud and the like

MOTs, service documents and receipts is fine for a mass produced car. If you have a special interest vehicle with some very interesting provenance (for example, it was owned by someone famous, it was a central vehicle in a film etc), then that's all you need.
