The r5 in that pics been fine, owner of it says something like if the engines cooled properly it shouldn't go :)

R5 isn't standard our VTS is but she keeps up and handles better thats for sure :)

that r5 is mint and the headgaskets only go if u dnt treat them rite and rag it every day like most owners of them

Love the 5 GTT..

my best mate's currently restoring his R5 , the shell is going down to be resprayed etc in the next few weeks should be mint as fuck when it comes back, cant wait =]

also agree with night time driving, so much better than daytime lol

And btw, for the record.. nothing wrong with renult 5 head gaskets.

if it goes pop its usually because some muppet has set up the fuelling wrong. NO other reason for it to go pop than any other car including a vts... TBH ;)

That ones not long been resprayed and had a rebuild i think too.

I looked at a couple of 5's when I was last car shopping.

Loved them but I couldn't take the risk of spannering them all the time on a student budget.
