I think it would be quite a bad idea, cause you'd be constantly looking upwards, so you wouldn't see the little cat/kid run out in front of your car, plus it would take your attention away from most other things around you too.

it says on the description on the first link...that you can watch the road...and still notice where the line is going etc...if you get that :/
EDIT - The driver uses only peripheral vision to follow the Virtual Cable™.

seems crap to me, be better off with a speaking one that WORKS, and says TURN LEFT AT JUNCTION ON THE RIGHT,,, rather than looking at a red line in your windscreen

yer maps would have to be up to date (unlike my tomtom) otherwise i could imagine following the red line into a hedge.

Agree with chris....
Much easier to place map on steering wheel, map light on, speedo at 118mph..... sorted
