COD4 Prestige...

...Got to level 55 last night but also found out if i want to do prestige i have to go back to level 1 with crappy weapons again :panic:

Is it worth doing even just once, dont think i will be even trying to get to level 10 :homme:

nope dont even bother unless your going to carry on to a much higher prestige level. but that will mean playing it constantly to get a decent symbol etc.

im on prestigue 2, lv 48, i would say do it otherwise ull be bored, its just more fun that way as you have to go unlock things, you go from lvl1-15 in about 2hrs playing easyyyyyy,

how many prestigues is there i rekon iv seeen about 6 symbols that are different, there are some sweaty "doleys" on that game click on top of list on rankings, and theyv played it NONE STOP and got stupid geek stats,, i call em doleys as there blatently on the dole and play live all day

tbh mate, if your only going to do it once dont bother wasting your time, go for the golden gun achievments instead.

Im up to 2 days odd, think i will do the prestige atleast once to see how i get on, not playing the game for symbols just enjoy whooping ass :y:

the symbols are crap until you get to at least level 8 or 9 etc.

you'll be best with just staying with the 5 stars because then nobody knows how good you are etc. with prestige symbols people expect you to be good.

prestigue doesnt mean your good, it just means youv played the game longer.

as i said ages ago the ranking should be better (skill based not time played baseD), ie it should go purely down on your kills - deaths, shotsfired - accuracy dived by playing time ect,

as at the moment its not hard to rank up its just from using guns and killing with them guns and getting more points for been on the winning team, which has hardly anything to do with skill, not your fault if ur teams constantly shat so your always the losing side.

im on about 2days 12hrs accuracy hovers around 19.5-21 got loadssss more kills than anyone else on my friends list (they have higher rankings and gaming time) but my gaming score is pants because i played free for all when i got hte game so if i didnt finish top it counted as a "Loss" so puts me down as a pooer player than someone with alot worse gaming skill but managing to get on the winning side...just seems daft, i aint bothered about what ranking i am but i just think its silly how ranking works (some of its good but mainly poor)

i play with the lads for a laugh but as a normall person who goes online for something to do when bored icant stand the FKN FREAKS OUT THERE. on the mics just singing makn gay noises arguing over a game, calling names starting fights for no reason,, basically little kids thinking they are hard behind a mic, and i find when the yanks come on as soon as you open your mouth they target you... its just ridiculous you go on for a laugh to play a game... and your met with some "FREAK" with no life!!!! rant over

I did prestige once and wont be doing it again. I'm back up to level 55 but I cant be arsed losing the desert eagle and bandolier perk so just leaving it as is.

It's all about the kill/death ratio anyway, prestige means feck all.

It's easy when you start a new prestige just whip out your mp5 i can go up like 15 levels in an hour quite easily..

Although not perfect, I suppose kill / death ratio is not a bad way of looking at your skill. What do you think? Obviously it's not a true way of looking at your skill, not that there's really any way! But it's not bad I suppose.

I can't believe it! I've got to about level 32 and I thought I was nearly finishing reaching level 55, only to find once I hit 55 I have to do it another 9 times!!!! LMAO, no f'king way. :panic:
