Just got back from the vets, our dog has been scratching like mad for a couple of days, the vet said he's got an allergy and has to have some tablets and a "lampshade" fitted:panic: we spent the last 2 hours trying to fit it on, it was like trying to fit a condom on a jelly.
The vets charge was £85 for today and a further £90 for a blood test next Thursday so thank God we have insurance:y: the vet said it could cost over £500/£1000 over the next few months. As the insurance is £110 a year I glad I renewed it, so if you have a pet think very hard about insurance.

what a fkn rip off vets are.... why have you had the lampshape fitted if he has an allergy... oh actually is it to stop him cratching his legs with his teath?

if hes only just started with this problem think about what youv changed...foods. carpet cleaners air freshners blabla..... cant see why they would ask for bills of 500-1000k for an allergy tbh rip off.

Had to laugh, the evening paper came through the letterbox and Barney (the dog) took off like a rocket to get it, as normal:clapping: tried to go through to kitchen door and got the "lampshade" caught up:panic: his bum tried to overtake his head at warp speed:clapping: left the item off for now.

Can't believe vets cost so much.

Hope Mike reads this with him getting his cat tonight and she only eats the expensive food ;)
