Could be a few things, from air filter blocked to a brake disc binding.

I would check the air filter and plugs. and then jack one wheel at a time and give it a spin make sure it is spinning freely.

Has the car been serviced?

check also that there is no slack in the Acc cable.

Could be the coilpack or that the engine isn't getting enough air/fuel

ive had the air filter off cleaned all that, i dnt think its this is it revs freely when stationary! it could possibly be the brakes because when i brake heavily the car pulls to one side, its just when coasting i dnt seem to stop suddenly! my steering feels a little unbalanced atm which might put it down to a break sticking??

check also that there is no slack in the Acc cable.

this was another option! i was testing it on the way home from work! i used to just have to touch the pedal and it would rev nice and freely! now it feels like theres about 1-2cm b4 anythin happens

CHEERS FOR THE HELP PPL BTW!!
