My 1.4i Mango Westie - BACK TO STANDARD FOR SALE

Well my first car was when I was still living in Zimbabwe, it was a 2.2l Mazda B2200 double cab (Petrol) Loved that car to bits.

Then I went to work for my Dad in a Town in Zimbabwe called Victoria falls and my company car was this - also had use of his boat whenever I wanted (AWESOME)

I then bought an old short wheeled based landcruiser something like this.

My dad helped me financially get it re-built from chassis up new gearbox and straight 6 cylinder engine she drove awesome once done. I then sold that and left Zimbabwe to come to the UK.

Once in the UK i bought my moms White Renault Clio 1.2 off her will find some pics.

Then Sold that and bought a black nissan sunny 1.4i and that was a piece of s&*%.

For my 21st Birthday in 2006 my Dad sent me £1500 for a new car and I bought my Mango Yellow Westcoast for £1700.

I instantly fell in Love - I picked her up In Crowborough and traded in my sunny for £160 and put the remaining £40 in to make up the £1700.

Before I drove off I put my headunit in the car so had some tunage on the way home. Ex Girlfriend in passanger seat and best mate in the back and off we went back to Poole DORSET

Should of started this a long time ago have had good things and bad things with the car which I will put up later when I have some time, thanks for all the comments.

The first things I bought were an Alpine 12" Sub with box off a mate and an Alpine MRP-T220 amp to run it off ebay. Put my old 6 x 9's in the parcel shelf and old 17cm door speakers in the doors.

I got a saxo badge at my local scrappy and so now the boot read CITROEN SAXO not just CITROEN and put the broken SAXO badge on my parcel shelf with some thin wire to hold it in place.

I then bought some alaminum looking wiper blades front and rear.

Couple months later I upgraded my BASS and sold just the sub and box and bought the following:

Then later that day some idiot reversed into the front of my car and so I removed the bumper, grill and slam panel and replaced everything as she was paying for damages and all was cracked or slightly battered and then she looked like this:

Yeah I agree on the bumper that one of the next on my list - wipers I am trying to decide what on and also thinking of wiper conversion ? Mirrors I like for now lol but yeah agree its coming along nicely - got some more cosmetic stuff hopefully going on tomoro lol will post up more pics once done, wheels I am aslo half half on I think I just want a change lol will see in the next couple months

Woke up at 5:30am this morning for work and once I had finished out came the tools and the saxo was in trouble. Today I fitted my new Dials and Steering wheel, the Dials I love but not 100% on the new steering wheel to be honest but we will see how it goes lol

Thanks all that have commented heres a list of what hopefully will get done this weekend if all goes to plan:

1) Spray Interior (especially dial surround)
2) Tint rear quarter windows
3) Fit components in as still running the alpine 17cm coax ones in the doors
4) Give her a good clean expecially inside and give her a polish
5) Fit New Pedals (Bought over 6 months ago LOL)
6) Fit Saxp stickers on quarter panels but dunno how they gonna look as already have alpine ones on the windows

FUTURE MODS AND WORK

1) Re-Spray front body parts
2) Lower her (any suggestions) still wanna be able to take ppl in the back tho.
3) Change my exhaust or improve current one (its too quiet)

Well Type R Components are in - tried putting them in the doors but didnt like it at all so made a parcel shelf out of MDF and put them in there , will get better pics up soon. Gonna put black carpet over the shelf.

So at the mo got Type S Speakers in the Doors running off Head Unit and the Type R's havent put the tweeters in yet are in the shelf running off and alpine amp. End of the week another alpine Amp being put in to run the Type S's in the doors.

Also managed to get my hands on a new front bumper and decided to sell my wolfrace alloys as they were kurbed and need need tyres deffo on the front and bought some 14" wheels which are in mint cond no kurbing and gonna re-spray

Everything looks good but the exhaust, but people have already said that, just sits a bit too low for my liking.

Some more carpeting needed and have loads of yellow neons which will be going in and the little piece of yellow carpet will change to black.

More audio deffo needed and power cap for sure.

looks good mate, but i would run the speaker cable for the subs through the hole you have cut for the RCA leads by the amp, also i hope your cars got an alarm mate as with that on display it might attract unwanted attention

update on what are the next plans that have the resources for already:

Paint brake calipers YELLOW
Finish fitting alarm
Fit neons
Remove build and put some sound deadening underneath as bit noisy when going over bumps as MDF knocks the body work
Started doing an engine clean gonna finish that off as now have a pressure washer to borrow

Hopefully get paint I need to spray front grill and mirrors

Will put up some pics once done

thanks Pred for comments wanted to arrange the subs around more but wanted to use the sledgehammer enclosure as its built for them and is solid so ended up using it lol

Another Update

Grill sprayed looks awesome and car looks the way it should now which is a good thing.

Bought back my Wolfrace Katana's and refurb and spraying them (not yet finished)

Few other bits and pieces sprayed up so will update with pics when I can.

Well finally got my old can and decat back on the car and SPAX 40mm full lowering kit on which bought brand new for £70 BARGAIN ! ! !

Heres some pics but car has dropped alot more this moring so will give her a clean and get some more pics up - rear torsion bar getting done next weekend by DJTurbo

not keen on the colour coding on the interior mate, i went that route with silver and im going back to black :p, prefering the more standard look now. Wheels are different, but not sure on them.

Bargain lowering kit mate! got mine fitted yesterday but i paid full wack :( well its just the shocks, so mine aint lowered :(.

get a nice lil magnex backbox :y:

Did alot today and proud to say I LOWERED MY TORSION BAR

Also fitted a new pipe for my induction kit , put back in my wheel arch liners and re-fitted my fog lights.

Right quick update

leaving the uk on jan 15th and so my baby is stripped and back to std

now just gotta sell a few mods and will not own a car or any mods

the good thing tho is i am getting a brand new 3.0td double cab ! ! ! !

Thanks for all positive comments , yeah car back to std now quite upsetting to strip down all hard work done to it. But getting a brand new Isuzu KB 3.0Td V6 double cab in Black so all good and then will buy something else to play with like a golf or something
