Problems with Kids...

Hi all..
As above really..

My younger brother (16), has been getting greif from some locals (17 and 18).
2 of them inparticular.
He gets threats to be beaten up and whatnot..

Basically, this wouldn't be a problem apart from one thing...

My brother had a nasty bike accident in November, which left him with his spleen removed and various other problems - He can't afford for anything to happen, it genuinely could be a matter of life and death.

Now we know who the people are, and where they Live, and just got the police involved tonight (not my choice tbh)..

Is there anything else we can do?
Tbh i've had one of them by his throat before now already, and they just don't care, and my main fear, is that being young (not much younger than me really), they have no feeling for life, and so don't really care what they do, or what the circumstances are.

My brother and his mate can't go very far at all without getting greif, I approached one of them with my bro and his mate in the car earlier, and he was on his own, and he just played the laughing move...
all 'I'm shitting myself but i'm not going to mention it' move...

Any suggestions?

I'm afraid there's nothing much you can do other that wait for the police to take action on the threats. They probably wont do much until an attack is made or whatever though. The police are so shite on violence nowadays its poop :sad:

Had a quiet word... Had a word at one of their houses in the middle of the road, I parked my car right outside his front door, the fucker soon came out!

i may have tried something similar before when a family member was getting the same kind of greif.

a talkboy with the voice distortion also works well, a few random calls to the house and leave a message with who every answers.
their parents panic and keep them off school for a bit lol

another family member was jumped at school by a load of kids, they all had a good dig at him with the heavy hammer thing from a science pestal and mortar. they made a fooking mess of his face big style. the main gang leader was a kid that did boxing and was being a big tuff guy.

me and my cuz where going to pull up in a car with masks on, put him in the boot, drive somewhere far away to the borders and just dump him in the middle of nowhere.

it was going to be a go ahead plan, until the police got involved and got the lad done.

a few years later, seen him in a club acting tuff in front of a load of his mates and lasses. i went over, started to chat to him and said who i was, his arse dropped big style. he was all apolojetic and said 'please dont do anything, its all sorted now and i said sorry'. i just told him to leave before i get too pissed and stop being able to control me and my friends reactions if we see him outside.

lmbo, i carnt go past him now, years later without him waving, or getting a drink in if i see him when out on the lash.

Showing you have a big backing works even if you don't touch him/them. Recently a guy fell out with me over something stupid and started spreading a few rumors about me and shit. Then when i was in my mates car he pulled up beside me and didnt notice i was there, started giving shit to my mate about me calling me this and that. I jumped out of the car but before i could even say a word my mate had floored him. Suddenly he said " I have nothing against you Joe" as he held his face and apologised to me. Dont think hes gona spread much about me now.

Its not a case of trying to show your better than him or that you can do more than him. If you go round and settle it then you drop it and get on with things. Do it once but don't start pushing your luck. theres always someone bigger and better than you.

On a very serious serious note, you want to keep an eye out on your brother as much as you can. Also join a self defence class, not just for now, however for the future! both of you taking up kick boxing or something! :) thats the route i've taken and it gives me confidence to handle situations like 'idiots acting baad'

i had a problem with this a guy was giving my sister greif so i gave him it back, then i started getting death threats from a 40 year old registered skitzo freenic(sp) relaying my address saying that im going to get stabbed etc, basically there is pretty much jack you can do really mate, in the end mine stopped because i know someone that went round to his house and threatened to kill his family if it didnt stop, not the way i would reccomend about getting things sorted, fighting violence with violence tc but sometimes it pretty much all you can do!

The police should be able to sort it out as it is assult. Even though they have not physically hit him, verbal assult is taken in the same mannor. Hopefully they will!

Other than that, not much you can do, just make sure you don't return the favour otherwise you won't have a leg to stand on!

Also due to your brothers medical condition it is also possible the police will see him as a 'vunrable' victim, therefore, greater care should be given.

The huge army of Sax-P Keyboard warriors making useless threats are actually giving very dangerous advice, and I hope that you are sensible enough to avoid it, giving in will lead only to you getting into a great deal of trouble, and not being able to look out for your brother.

Make a formal complaint to the police, and ensure that it is acted upon. Go down to their house, and speak with their parents - do it when the kids are not there, impress upon them the fragility of your brother's health.

If there is no joy, are they in rented accommodation? Social landlords really don't like to have tenants who make threats, the thought f losing the house may actually force them into some kind of line.

If all else fails, be there for your brother, he will need to show them though that he's getting on with his life and not letting others ruin it for him.

that is a very good point and makes sence but ive been in the exact same situation except it was me getting the bother my house was targeted windows put thru etc my sax was smash to piecesn targeted my familt and friend! got the police involved etc didt detur them at all it even went to teeside magestrate court got restraining orders and compo 2 of them were remanded and then jailed but still i got grief after all that so it took some heavy work to sort it out which it is now
