Air intake box?

Got the car back from citroen today after i took it thier because of the irratic idling/ revving itself up etc.. after changing the stepper motor and it still not working properly they seem to think it needs a new air intake box? what does this do? and could this be causing the problem? it just seems like they are guessing to me...

if they didnt solve the problem i would take the car back and tell them you want it fixing properly seeing has you have paid money for them to have fixed the problem i cant see the air box being the problem

i cant imagine that being the problem unless youve got a tennis ball shoved in the hoseing.

it something electrical, or a manky inlet/trottle which need to be cleaned out

bring it to an autoelectrician

Cant see it being the whole air intake box either.
Maybe something to do with the idle control valve. Or even something simple like spark plugs.
