I know cars idle, but when i stopped a giveway earlier the revs started going up by theirselfs to like 2000 back down, then up again, did it about 3 times then went back to normal. Engine was warm, had just come off motorway and done about 5 minutes of town driving.

Was in 1st gear with clutch down and foot brake on.

Not done it since. However last night coming off motorway, it started making a wierd wurrring noise.

Im thinking possibly clutch on its way out or a sensor is fucked?

Been driving around with the oil breather pipe not attached to raceland, could this be causing a problem? i doubt it but you never know.
