errrrrr im confused and worried....

ok........ i WAS insured by Quinn, and i had a crash last month, not a small one ether, i hit a van then parked car.... i dont do anything half assed :-p haha


and at the end of that month (9 days ago) i mised this months payment, they said i had 10 days to make the payment... so i phoned up not 10 mins ago from writing this, and i get "Your account has been canceled..."

Im not to botherd about that, as i wanted to cancel anyway... no point paying insurance on a wrote off car... BUT what about my crash?? will they still be covering it... or will i get a nastly letter teling me i need to cough up crap loads of cash....

also, i just went on my online banking and my Direct Debit to Quinn is still active so it will still try and give them money this month, should i just cancel it now that i know my account has been canceled??

As long as you we're covered at the time of the accident then you are fine - from your post I would imagine you were

Obviously you may not be covered for this month now. Rather than just send money you are best off calling Quinn to find out where you stand

sum companies are different and have different rules for paying monthily u need to read all the small print cancelled can mean cancelled if u fail to make payment best off ringing them back up an finding out where u stand just for peace of mind..

It depends whether you were paying in arrears or not. You need to check whether cover was still extant on the date of the crash.
