This is something I've been trying to figure out for a while.

At the moment, registration numbers run along a logical path -

05 - car was new in March 2005.
55 - car was new in September 2005.
06 - car new March 2006

and so on. So what will happen to this logical order in March 2010?

Or am I missing the absolutely bleeding obvious answer?

its changed to 3 or something for 2008, not sure how it works but it wont be 08 for this year...

it change to 59, then 10, then 60, then 11 then 61 and so on.....

2008 = 08 58

2009 = 09 59

2010 = 10 60

2011 = 11 61

2012 = 12 62

2013 = 13 63

and so on and so on.

System is good for 50 years as there are 100 combinations.

God know what we'll be doing after that. Probably have sharia hindu plates on our cars (kidding, not racist - just find the current situation highly amusing! shaxx, much love bro)
