Right, I think most of you will agree that trying to get a part from a Citroen Dealer is quite hard and very time consuming as they ain't got a clue.
Look at Adamsax the other month when he went for a MK2 Rear Wiper Arm and they told him a Adam Smith came in yesterday, with same order number and same part collected it the day before - very strange you'll think.
Now, when I bought the Saxo Westcoast back in November 2005 I was missing my 'Westcoast' badges so I went to order some - £18 and they would be there within 3 working days. That was fine and they said they would call once they arrived.
Guess what........? Still awaiting that call.
Anyways, been to Peugeot twice in the last week - once for some 307 carpet mats and once to get a B Pillar Sticker for my drivers side - both times the parts were there by 10.30 the next day - pretty good don't you think?
I just find it funny how two different companies who sell the SAME parts as they have Citroen and Peugeot badges on can be SO different.
Anyone else had a BAD experience with Citroen and Parts?

That is not bad for a main dealer (peugeot), i always get my stuff through where i work so never have the hassle of trying to get stuff from a main dealer, always with me same day or next morning.

phoned up.. was told you can get it anywhere.... and then he hung up..
2nd time... spoke to someone who didnt know what i ment, then spoke to the previous guy again and he promised me you can get it at a motorfactors.
3rd time i told them, you can NOT get it at a motor factors hence its a citroen PART... they took my name and number.. and 25 mins later a mechanic from the workshop phoned up saying the orders been placed and sorry for the problems..

Luke has already mentioned one of many plights with the dealership I've experienced. I could moan and moan about more but I'm just gonna box it off nicely with a word which I hope not only describes their product knowledge; but also thier prices.
Dogshit.
That is all.

Its much easier to just sign up on the website containing the citroen parts programme.
Anyone can access it and its absolutely identical to the programme that they have in the dealerships.
Register
Sign in
Stick in your chassis number
Look around the parts that it brings up for your car (its very easy, theres even a search bit if you just want to look for 'driveshaft' or 'doorcard' etc
Then when you order from citroen just give them the part number that you've already obtained yourself in half the time that the people at citroen do.
Never had a problem with mine, always in next day before lunch.
http://service.citroen.com <- enter this exactly in your browser.
And on a final handy note you can see all the prices of the parts aswel before ordering

I've never had a problem with the guys here, they go out of their way to help you - like the part that couldn't be found on their system the other week, they went and got the catalogue and found the part in there after we spent 20mins translating french (why couldn't they provide and english version !?!?!)
