well i bought i headunit a couple of months back and now im bored of it and i have been wanting some components and subs for abit and i recently decided i wanted to put my 360 in my car also which means new headunit if i want to do it my way lol

so heres wat i was think of getting:
this headunit (http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-clarion-vrx868rvd_p-22796.htm) or this (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/clarion-vrx578rusb-p-6070.html?cadid=96eb0b8c554fc7051a8f59b39213cbf6)o ne i prefer the 2nd one though
these subs and amp (http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-pioneer-ja690-tsw3001d4-bx212_p-21417.htm)

i havent got a clue which components to get or amp to power them! i quite fancyed some hertz ones but i dunno. any suggestions??

would it be recommend to get another amp to power the subs singular??

what type of wiring kit would i need??? and does anybody rate that for a set up??

These (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/hertz-energy-1303-p-6296.html?cadid=96eb0b8c554fc7051a8f59b39213cbf6) are the components i was thinking about getting

all looks good mate dont wanna scrimp on wiring tho as a good wiring kit will make all the difference. The head unit looks like a fair price but youll need to see if you can have the amp and 360 plugged into it together as one may interfear with the other depending on how many audio in's it can have

just looked at the head unit details and theres only one aux which means you can have only one plugged in the 360 or the amp!

i thought amps run on pre out ports which there is 6 of:oops: and why would a amp be on a aux port surely it should be on a out port i dont no much about this kinda stuff before you say im stupid lol

no your right the amp will run off the pre out...

dont know much about the 360 or flip screen head units BUT

if i was you i would get a 3 channel amp and just a single sub then you can run your component speakers and the sub off that amp that way they will sound much better

and from what ive heard you dont really need 2 subs

also them speakers look awesum

well looks ok to me the set up youre going for. as said previously you really wouldnt need 2 subs cause one would be powerful enough id suggest. possibly the best thing to do is to buy 2 amps one for sub one for comps as its likely the sub will need quite a bit of power which it wont get if comps are powered too. you can either use 2 separate wires or i believe you can split the power from one wire to the 2 amps.
as for comps a lot of people will suggest these (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/boston-acoustics-sx50-p-4620.html?cadid=d10d57c6ae1515a026018ec7a6cf17a3)
but i have these (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/infinity-reference-5020cs-p-6197.html?cadid=d10d57c6ae1515a026018ec7a6cf17a3)w hich i personally think sound better than when i had the bostons.

also one other thing to mention, being a premium member on saxp you get free postage with caraudiodirect if you enter your username, now id imagine the postage will be over a 10er so why not join saxp at the same time and get all your stuff from caraudiodirect and save some money!

edit: i apologise if any of this info is wrong although im sure predator would correct me on this.

i think the components he already has his eye are slightly more powerful than the 2 there but them 2 are a little cheaper...

also if you was to find a 3 channel amp powerful enough for those speakers and a sub would be a much simpler way of doing it than 2 amps.. maybe cheaper as well

oh sorry didnt see his post of the comps he wanted... they are better i should think just people always suggest bostons..
also youre right 1 amp much simpler than 2 was just a suggestion to get optimum power for his sub and comps.
edit: just checked and im pretty certain the infinity are more powerful than both the bostons and the hertz - rms is the same between hertz and infinity, peak is higher on the infinitys

With the recent drop in price of the Audison SRX3 (http://www.audison.it/prodotti.asp?lang=eng&idlinea=5&idprodotto=49) due to their new range being released you can't go wrong with this amp. Get a decent sub and set of components and you've got yourself a great sounding system.

Head Unit: Clarion VRX578RUSB (http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/6575.html) £399.99

Amplifier: Audison SRx 3 (http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/2896.html) £199.99 (This used to be well worth the money at £350 now it's an unreal bargain at under £200)

Subwoofer: Hertz ES 300 D (http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/ES300D_hertz-es-300-d1---subwoofer-300mm-44-ohm.html) £119.99

Components: Rainbow SLC 230 (http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3980.html) £169.99

I've used a general total budget of the gear that you have already suggested for yourself. The amp will run both the sub and the components. I'm not a fan of in dash monitors but if I was and had around your budget the above system is what I would spend my money on.

Hope this is of some help.

looks like a sweet set up you got there... ive never herd the Hertz comps before, but can highly recommend the bostons. the 360 will rig up perfectly to the screen but i dont know how your going to manage the power. You might find that if your running amp/s, lcd HU and an inverter for the 360, you will kill the battery. maybe consider an extra battery. think its a yellow top battery that you can get that you can install in the boot, thatll charge when your driving, and then run all your gear when your parked up. it can be run down fully and then recharged hundreds of times without degrading its life.

Also, to power speakers, would def recommend two amps. one for comps and other for subs. you will def need the power for those pioneer tanks!. This set up is going to look stealth mate when its done... so keep us all posted!!
