Thats average i suppose for the millage. Its getting on a bit now so i would double check all history that comes with it to make sure its genuine. Get him down to £1200-1300 if you can

if its from a private sale, take a mechanic or someone with you to give it the once-over, and also if u think the seller seems a bit shifty or too eager to sell get a hpi check done, it costs like £30 but it could save you hundreds lol if u take a mechanic also get him to give some bull about tracking bearing ends need replacing or sumat like that, get some money off it matey :y:

Sounds like a good buy to me.

HPI check it first, then ask for service history/receipts etc

You know what a straight saxo looks like so if it appears to have been pranged walk away.

What wasnt. here is the list

New mirrors
passenger door was dinted
two huge cracks in front bumper
6x9's and no hu
big rip in drivers seat
every belt in engine bay was screeching
rust everywhere

The list was endless

...too right. Kepp on hunting mate, you'll find one eventually. Might be selling my 51-plate VTS come the summer, its a minter, as I'm moving out for Uni.
