had me car jacked up , took the wheel off and i'm getting a squeak coming from either round beside the cv boot or the driveshaft where the knuckle is, when I pull the driveshaft towards me and turn the discs backwards and forwards the squeak goes off, is this the driveshaft? or could it be the cv boot dry? it sound like rubber squeaking if thats any help

take the CV boot off and check that it isnt dry, could also be a worn CV Joint.

if it vibrates through your steering it is probably your driveshaft if it doesnt vibrate it could be a wheel bearing
