HELP! Are All Boots The Same Fit?!?!

Iv phoned up ASM Auto salvage which have told me that they have a boot which i am after only thing is they cant tell me what it has just come off of so in the worst case, does the 1.1 desire or westcoast or vts bootlid fit onto the VTR and would a MK2 boot fit on a MK1? Thanks :y:
