Depends on your insurance company & your policy!

Often the vehicle has to be insured by the owner as well!

Thats not true. Im 20, and I pay a little extra with bell (£29.95 to be precise) to be insured on other vehicles. Same with two of my other mates.

The other car is not allowed to be owned by you or your employer though..

exactamundo... otherwise I'd be insuring a N reg fiesta 1.0 TPFT and running the PHATEST car I could afford.

no it doesnt work like that.

if u really want to, buy a shitter, insure it then hop into you 'mums' scooby ;)

dont recomend it tho because if u crash itll only be thirdparty.

But your mum would have to insure it still..

already been covered this but noone believes it,

the second car with quinn, does NOT have to have its own policy
and you can be tpft on ur shitter and drive anything 3rd party too

it seems silly but they do it for some reason, ive asked quinn loads (a manager and several staff) and traffic cops about it too, then both said its fine!

only thing u cnt drive is a commercial car or van

I drive my dad's R32 using this on my Quinn policy but I'm actually on my mums insurance policy as a second driver.

I don't really risk driving third party in a car worth over 35 grand though lol

how u insured at all on a r32 lol, must cost a bomb

I already said, I'm insured for free 3rd party as my insurance with Quinn states that I am insured 3rd party on any other car with owners permission and I have written confirmation ;)

Costs enough to be insured on the merc though but definitely worth it.

What?

I have my own insurance policy on my saxo fully comp which states that I can drive any other car 3rd party with owners permission. I have that in writing. Therefore I drive my dad's R32 with that.

I'm then a second driver on my mums insurance policy on her merc so that I can drive that fully comp.
