As you may now know, iv started working in a scrappie.

Anyway, got a phonecall today about collecting a car.
Having a busy day (senior sales bloke ill), and this bloke phones up, I say "Mitchellsm whats up"

turns out his daughter died and it was her car, they kept hold of it since november because of her memories.

I felt like such a cunt!

Phoning a scrap yard you dont expect to be greeted by a nice telephone manner anyways....and how were you to know it was some bloke ringing up whose daughter had just died....

Oh dude.... not the best of ways to answer a phone but you weren't to know, don't let it bother you too much.

Like you, I know how they feel... I lost my best friend back in December so understand you completely :)
