lack of power under 3k revs

My problem is when i accelerate, under 3k revs in any gear it is really sluggish! As soon as i get above 3k its fine goes really well! When it is below 3k an i put my foot down it will pick up slightly more but it almost feels asif for the 1st inch of pressing the pedal nothing happens! Its not blocked air flow, its not a locked brake and the fuel filter is about 6 months old! Maybe coilpack, broken injector, spark plugs??? Any ideas pleaseeeeeeeeeee??? Thanks guys

same here lol think im going to change spark plugs an get the t.b off an have a look in there! if this doesnt solve it, its goin to a mechanic lol

Give it a service mate first air, oil, fuel filters and change the plugs. While your at it clean the intake system out then go from there

Is it running okay on idle?? If you are in neutral, do the revs pick up okay when you rev it? (i/.e is it just under load when the engine is sluggish?)

i have cleaned the filter, fuel and oil filter are about 6 months old! i do need to change the spark plugs so ill try that!

it idles fine and the revs seem to pick up ok when not in gear! its sort of an uneasy feeling when you think you have power but you dont then it hits 3k an its fine! god knowsssss :(
