New car!

Hi everyone. Well looks like I will no longer be driving the VTR now as I have been to put down my deposit for a new car tonight. I decided to buy myself a 106 GTI. Went out for a test drive in it tonight and loved it as soon as we drove away. So will be piking her up saturday, I'll post some pics of it when I have got her home. Cant wait!!! :panic:

Lol, sorry forgot to mention details. Its a 2003 model with 35,000 miles on the clock. The colour is moonstone blue. She is totally standard, well apart from being lowered 30mm, which saves me a job! lol! Will defo get some pics sorted, just gotta sell my car now but today the bloody electric power steering has died on me! typical!

im liking the vts and the pug gti in equal measures.

i like the idea of leather and sweude (sp) interior ;)

One of the reasons I went for the 106 also was because it doesnt look exactly the same as a VTR with the interior/exterior etc. Some people might think its a bit of a stupid reason but thats one reason why I didnt go for the S.

another couple of hundred quid mate you could of had the 172 clio mate, but then you have the insurance to go with it.

Plans for the moment are just either a raceland enclosed or panel filter and 2" pugsport. Not many plans as of yet. Not doing any exterior mods, want to leave it looking subtle.

if it's worth it to you and you're entirely happy with it that's all that matters really. you've got a mint late reg low miler in a rare colour. plenty of abused examples out there so spending the extra now will hopefully save you some cash and hassle in the long run!

I'll be selling my 02 vts once i've moved house, thats only on 30k but I dont expect to get anywhere near 4k for it.

Lovely car mate, expensive when you think you pay so much extra for very little difference.
