Please what ever you do dont get a cheap one, they are only for walking around, not for doing any real dancing!!!! they are likely to fall down!!!! and thats not what you want. X poles are the best to get , you may pay alittle bit more but well worth it. HAVE FUN

right its kinda hard to explain without a pic but ill give it ago......

at the bottom has a round base about 5" round.
and the top has a 10" round rubber anti slip pad on it.

then you unscrew the top to 2" taller than the ceiling.
then as its spring loaded u have to really push it down and then put the pole inplace let go and it will hold in place ready to dance?

does that make sense or shall i jump onto paint and draw ya soemthing?
